El problema de la montura S es que no es abierta, le pasa como a Canon RF.
Quien quiera fabricar objetivos tiene que hacer ingeniería inversa para conseguir AF y automatismos, con la incertidumbre que eso conlleva ya que en cualquier momento podrían, con una simple actualización de firmware, desactivar todos los objetivos de terceros fabricantes.
Así que dudo mucho que eso pase. Pueden salir manuales pero no creo que nadie se arriesgue a sacar objetivos con AF para Panaleicasigma o Canon RF.
Por cierto que Nikon Z también es un sistema cerrado. Y Fuji hasta el año pasado, que decidió cambiar de estrategia, también:
